This was a great purchase for the price. It does a great job and easy to use. Great all around sound. I spoke with a rep from the store she told me that everyone who’s purchased it has had nothing but good things to say and I agree.

I got this soundbar for my new entertainment set up. I got a new 65" 4K Sony TV. I run the TV, a 4K DVD player and a PS4 Pro. All sound goes from the TV Toslink cable to this soundbar. Right out of the box this soundbar is great. The bass pairs automatically and it truly is plug and play. I am no audiophile, I just wanted something easy and simple. The remote is nice. Clear voice is a plus. Surround and Stereo sound is great. I know there is a DTX feature but I don't think I will need it. Movie sound is amazing and CD's played through the DVD player are awesome. This sound system can crank. Always liked Yamaha products. I am not disappointed.

I really like what Yamaha has done for this speaker set. It's not uber expensive and yet not on the super cheap side either. The sub's connection to the soundbar itself was the easiest thing I've had the pleasure of connecting. Check it out, Yamaha included a dedicated usb port for any future firmware updates, how cool and forward thinking is that. HDMI hookup, check, ARC (didn't know I needed it till this Yamaha) check. If your in the market for a new soundbar this is an excellent choice.

This is my 1st sound bar and I have to say I am impressed with the overall sound quality. I bought this to go with a new 4K Sony TV and blu-ray player used in a small living room not suitable for even a small 5.1 system. If you are looking for quality sound from a system that is virtually invisible to the eye but has the ability to produce quality sound for everything from the evening news to sports, 4K & regular blu-ray movies, and your favorite music this should be at the top of your list.

My old Panasonic sound bar finally died and I needed a new one. Went to Best Buy in Lake Geneva Wisconsin and checked out what they had on hand. I was ready to spend up to $500.00 on one if I found what I wanted. Listen to Klipsch, JBL, LG, and Samsung. The one I wanted to hear was not set up in the store, it was too new and had not hooked up as of yet. It was the Yamaha and was not too happy I could not listen to it. But I'm an old Audiophile and Yamaha always made quality equipment; plus I researched reviews from other sites and found nothing but positive reviews. So I threw caution to the wind and bought the Yamaha. DARN, it was the right choice!!!! It sounds GREAT and has this option called clear voice that enhances the voices in the news, sports programs and so on; works like a charm. This is a GREAT sound Bar at a reasonable price. I liked it better than anything else I listened to at the store. The hook-up took less than five minutes and I was listening to GREAT sound from a Flat screen. Great Product! I give it 5 Stars!!!!!

For the price this is a nice system. Simple to set up and use. Like the option of running it from my phone and the sound is good.

This technology blows me away. I have had a 7.2 surround sound system with high end amplifier and audiophile speakers. This sounds just as good and fills the entire room with sound for a small fraction of the price and space. Connections and operation are simple and straightforward.

Did a lot of research, ended up with another brand to start, was not happy and returned it, more research and now own the Yamaha, and very pleased with sound, installation and connectivity to other components.

This Yamaha soundbar has a slim profile and is easy to setup. Download firmware for best results. Firmware download was a bit tricky but at least it's an option. Great soundbar for the price.

This sound bar isn't very flashy, but it's sound is fantastic and that is the most important. The virtual surround sound feature is really great.

This sound bar was much less expensive than prior one, and the sound is really good. Plan to buy another for the den.

I am impressed with the full sound you get from the YAS 207. The DTS Virtual X is nice and full for movies but I don't really notice a surround sound. It does sound fuller though. Bass is very nice and punchy. App allows more tweaking. You really just have to play around with the settings to get it where you like.

After listening to everything Best Buy had, with a subwoofer, for under $1,000, I thought this system offered very good sound. For music, it has good high frequency and more than adequate bass, if you like accurate bass reproduction. (for a tv audio system. same as the taking-a-picture-with-a-phone thing) The Bluetooth feature works well, also, and sounds better than my Bose Soundwave III. I think the clear voice feature works very well with dialog, which is the key reason we wanted a sound bar. It's a 2.1, so it doesn't do surround sound very well, although I have caught myself looking around the room a few times. Paired with the visually mind-blowing LG OLED B7A and LG 4K DVD. So, my bottom line is - best bang for the buck for less than $600. And that's all I have to say about that.

I bought this Sound Bar as an open box and had to return it. It had amazing sound, looks nice, and I would have loved to keep it but mine was missing the remote which is needed to properly use. While I did return it, I would recommend it to anyone. It is a great Sound Bar and would be a great addition to your sound system.

This soundbar and woofer combination is perfect for smart TV and mobile cast. Have surround, speaker, clear voice and bass extension mode. Surround mode is perfect for dolby atmosphere and real feel of theater. I love hearing music on soundbar and woofer compliments very well. Setup is very easy and remote is user friendly. Pros - Value for money. Cons - I did not find any yet.

I don't think you could get a better Soundbar for the money

Awesome Sound with much depth and clarity. We've had several other sound bars. In this price range, it is superior to any other one we've had before. Very easy to hook up and sounds as good as many of the others we've heard at a much higher price. Would recommend this to anyone Very Happy !

This soundbar is great. Purchased new LG Oleg TV that was supposed to have great sound, bit after playing blu ray, I needed more. After much research opted for this. Love the sound. Has adjustable bass (from remote) . Just a WARNING. This soundbar had a software upgrade around June 2017. Since I purchased mine in May 2018 I didn't anticipate any issues. When I picked up my order, I found date on box prior to fix. It took a good while for me to get the upgrade to work. Tried to get Best Buy to get me newer unit but manager said he couldn't guarantee what warehouse would send.. I was not happy about that response

I recently purchased a tv and wanted to improve the sound quality using a sound bar. After a lot of research, I bought Yamaha YAS 207. However, I was a little disappointed with the quality. It has good bass, but conversations are not clear enough. It is probably a good buy for the money, but very far from sound bars prices at $600 or higher.
