“Would this be compatible with Yamaha RX-V581 7.2 receiver? I need a set of speakers for the indoors.. I have two outdoor speakers that I want to hook to the v581. If these use 2 of the channels i presume this 5.1 600 w system could use the other 5?”

William I am new to buying audio. I just bought these speakers two weeks ago and so far they seem work fine with my Denon-AVR-2112CI (https://www.crutchfield.com/S-2bTZjntJ5lY/p_033AV2112C/Denon-AVR-2112CI.html - 90 watts per channel into an 8 ohms (20-20,000 hz)) After asking questions from a bunch of people ulimatly I based my purchase on the comapatability of the ohms, wattage and just how loud I thought I might actually try to play them. I needed a replacment sub woofer and and two rear speakers. I am using Polk Audio - 5-1/4" Bookshelf Speakers - Pair for the Front at the moment , I plan to swich out for the outside later. So I don't see why they should not work for you. I know this does not answer your question but I just wanted to give you another perspective from someone who is looking to doa simular set up
