Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm using my Yamaha RX-V483BL, which is rated at 80 watts, to power three speakers, two bookshelf and a center. The bookshelfs are designed for a 20-150 watts.amplifier, the center for 20-225 watts. They're working fine in a large living room as part of a 5.1 home theater system. The two subwoofers are self-powered and the two satellites have their own amplifier (connected by a Rocketfish wireless device, now on clearance).
