No, it will not. The power output of this CD changer is like the output of any normal audio source (except turntables, which have far lower power output). A preamp and power amp, or the combination of these two devices into a receiver or integrated amplifier, is required to amplify the tiny output to sufficient power to drive speakers. The only exceptions to this rule are devices that have the words "integrated amplifier" or "CD receiver" as part of their name. There are some CD players that are built with integrated amplifiers, meaning most of the parts of a receiver are there except for a tuner. They are usually high quality and expensive, or they are portable boom boxes. A CD receiver obviously has the tuner as well as the pre and power amps.
