The width of the Yamaha CD-C600 disc tray when it is open is 13 1/2”. When the tray is open it is 28” from the front of the tray to the back of the cabinet. You will need a depth of at least 17 1/2” when the tray is closed. The actual depth is 17.1”, but that does not account for the space you need for the power plug in the back of the unit. When I ordered my unit I knew it would be tight in my cabinet, but I had not accounted for the space required for the power plug. I just made it with a 1/2” clearance between my cabinet doors and the from of the unit.
