“I'm using this receiver to power two sets of Bose outdoors speakers. What speakers (front,center, surround, extra etc.) on the receiver should I connect them to? Particularly if I wanted them to run in two separate zones?”

Connect one pair to the front-left and front-right binding posts, that will be Zone 1. Connect the other pair to the “EXTRA SP1” (F. PRESENCE/ZONE 2) left and right binding posts, that will be Zone 2. See the section in the Owners Manual beginning on Page 16. You may also need to go through the Speaker Setup section of the Settings menu in order to assign the correct connections to Zone 2.
