Go to the Yamaha site and read the instruction manual. This unit is typically set up for surround sound. I set up a zone 2 with 6 speakers (2 per room) and fed that into my amplifier. So I can do surround sound on zone 1 say for my cable box with surround sound and set the zone 2 to input the tuner (or whatever ie. internet radio, cd player, etc.) doing two different (or the same) units in other rooms. If you are hooking up only 4 speakers in one room you might want to read the user manual or check with Yamaha support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you will have to set it up in the software though. May be a bit confusing at first but after a few minutes I was able to make the receiver do what I wanted.
