“Two part question: Has anyone used the bi-amp option and is it worth it? Is setting up Bi-amp with a 5.1.2 setting possible? Instructions shows options as 5.1.2 + 1 Zone and 5.1 Bi-Amp, seems like it would be the same.”

I bought this receiver 2 weeks ago, and noticed last night that the woofers on my Infinity Beta 50s were not working. I had originally hooked it up only to the front connections on the receiver. This morning I realized the problem, I didn't have the bridge between the 4 speaker connections connected. I did wire it as biamp like the manual shows, and now all speaker components are working great. Be sure and select the Bi-amp in the settings on the receiver.
