• Just plug the subwoofer's cable jack.

• Initially I had a trouble, then found out. Press setup option on the remote, and select "Subwoofer Use" option to turn on subwoofer.

• It has to be an amplified sub that plugs into the sub woofer port . Looking at the rear it is to the left of the speaker hook ups. A passive sub woofer will not work

• This home theater comes with a Sub-woofer preout jack to connect a sub.

• Just use an RCA cable from Sub Out on Onkyo to the sub-woofer. Two subs are supported.
