“I have not been able to sync my iphone 7 with this unit, i select bluetooth, click enter and it says searching for 5 seconds, but nothing shows up on my iphones bluetooth and nothing happens on the receiver? what am i doing wrong?”

This ain't the greatest answer, but try unplugging the power for a minute. My own LG phone synced up & played music no problem, yet my buddy's phone (also LG) couldn't find the Yamaha until I repowered it... Good Luck!
