“Will this receiver upscale 4k content if a 4k source and 4k tv are being connected?”

• Per the specs, if you're sending a 4K signal through it...it will display 4K. It does not upscale 1080p content to 4K. Do note that only one input has the ability to pass true 4K content along (via HDCP 2.2.

• Per the Yamaha web site, this model does 4k pass-through, but does not do 4k upscaling. The higher end models in this series (e.g. RX-A740) do upscaling.
