• Depends!!!!! If you use a HDMI cable to feed the TV it does not allow sound that resides on the TV to be sent thru the Yamaha. SO YOU CAN REVERSE FEED THE SOUND BACK TO THE YAMAHA WITH A CABLE, TV out, Yamaha back feed in.... OK. Now if netflex resides on your DVD player the sound goes thru the AV Reciever..... You can do so much with this reciever.
