There are audio input jacks on the back, but the manual doesn't say what signal levels are OK.

Please try again later.Not to the Yamaha rx v4a it has no phono outlets but what I did was leave my old receiver hooked up to the turntable and piggyback the speaker wires from the new Yamaha to my old Yamaha now you need to leave your new Yamaha receiver off when using the turntable and also when you're not using the turntable need to disconnect the positive speaker wires so you get no feedback from your old receiver I did this by installing a speaker wire switch to each speaker wire and keeping them turned off when not in use I have did this and it works perfectly and never have both receivers on at the same time it's either one or the other
