Will this extra glass screen protector allow my fingerprint to unlock my phone properly? The basic glass one by zagg specif8cally mentions fingerprint compatibility in the description.... this one does not???? null

Yes but you have to relearn prints once installed

It works a bit inconsistently for me. Breathing hot air on the screen before trying my fingerprint helps a lot

I can use my fingerprint on the phone with the screen protector on it.

My fingerprints weren't recognized after installation, but they recommend that you reregister them. After I did that, it was a little less sensitive, but they worked out just fine.

I haven't had any issues with loss of fingerprint use. The salesperson said I might have to reestablish the fingerprint after installing, but haven't needed to.

I had issues with my fingerprint for the first day after installing.  Seems better now but not as good as not having a screen protector.  Note** I am using the sensitive touch setting.

I have it on my s25u and i have no issues with the fingerprint sensor, and currently not using the sensitive touch setting either so you should be fine
