• This will not protect your whole phone, only the screen. The s8 Is supposed to be a waterproof phone already. Look for a waterproof case like the LifeProof - Fre Protective Water-resistant Case for Samsung Galaxy S8 if you need something more. My daughter got this and was very happy with it.

• this is just a cover for the display, not the whole phone. This would protect the display from water but not the phone.
