I can answer some of what you asked. It is more expensive (I think) because it is tempered glass. I dropped my phone in a parking lot and the protector cracked in several places but the phone screen did not. I got a replacement because I'd forgotten about the lifetime guarantee. It isn't fingerprint resistant.

Not sure but by almost 2 years of experience with them on both my S4 and note 4, the only thing that's scratched it is sand from the beach and when I accidentally had my pocket knife in the same pocket. But even still, the scratches are minor. 2. Yes. But let's get real, it is oil resistant as far as possible. After I am holding that thing against my oily cheek on a 1 hour call, their is traces of oil, but it wipes off way better than your normal screen. (I promise you that much) small fingerprints are hardly ever traced on my glass protector. 3. I don't know why, but let me say this, I've never gone to any other brand, plus, they offer a lifetime warranty that allows you to get a new one when it cracks, you return the cracked one for a new one in the mail and all you do is pay the shipping fee. 5 bucks is way better than spending 10 bucks Everytime you crack one of those generic ones. Don't be fooled my friend. I honestly find Zags screens cut more accurately, some of these other brands makes the cut outs way too generous and open like the front camera or home button. 4. Sorry brother, I couldn't be able to recall it... but it's thick, like 5 papers thick... 5. HD and HDX are not glass, I believe they are both plastic or film like protectors, the only glass products are the privacy, mirror and this one. The main difference is what you enjoy at your fingertips at the cost of material, thickness, and clarity. I think glass will always bring that brilliant transparency but not much people care about it too much and buy what looks cheaper. Hope this answered everything, if you need in depth answers you can always ask me, I'm a firm believer in Zagg and their screens protectors. It's saved my phone many times and they have always came through with a replacement.

HD and HDX aren't glass, they're the plastic sticker kind. Mirror glass gives you a mirror when the phone screen is off. Pretty pointless IMO.
