• I would say it is certainly more glossy than matte. It is a bit 'sticky' to the touch when you first start using it, but is nice in smooth in no time.

• Zagg has many different types. If you get the HD Glass then of course the glass has a glossy finish. The plastic or film ones usually are a matte finish.
