A:AnswerThis is a hard covering like tempered glass. Clarity is amazing and it’s hard to even tell there’s a cover. However without a case to protect the edges, they are subject to cracking, rather easily, from pressure applied to the edges.
A:AnswerI can't speak about online purchases but when I purchased it in store they offered me the $8 Geek Squad instillation which I would not recommend anyway. But shouldn't be a problem if you still want to go that route.
A:AnswerIt fits the 8 but the packaging doesn't list it yet. I suspect that will be updated going forward. It's important to note that the protector only covers the viewable portion of the screen (width-wise) and so there is a ~3mm border of the phone's glass screen that is not covered by this protector.
A:AnswerI believe it's because the edges of the phone screens are beveled and curved around the edge. The glass screen protector can't bend, so they don't go all the way to the edges because they wouldn't conform to the same shape and therefore wouldn't stay stuck down. Hope this helps.
