“Does this screen protector still fit when there is a case on the I-Phone 7 such as the Symmetry or Commuter cases by Otter Box? For ex, will the case be pushing up the edges of the screen protector because most cases wrap around the edge of the phone?”

It fit quite well in my case. I cannot tell you for sure what brand the case is but there is a small margin left between the cover and the case so it should work with just about any brand.
