I believe it's because the edges of the phone screens are beveled and curved around the edge. The glass screen protector can't bend, so they don't go all the way to the edges because they wouldn't conform to the same shape and therefore wouldn't stay stuck down. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Aftermartket products dont always fit perfectly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My screen protector covers my iPhone 7 just fine. I have the Otterbox Commuter and the portion of phone not covered by screen is miniscule.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My guess is that the new iPhone 7 is more curved on the edges so the protector can't go all the way to the edge without inevitably breaking because of lack of contact with the phone. Definitely is a bit trickier to apply to phone because of this!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since the tempered glass being flat and not flexible most all tempered glass screen protectors are smaller because the iPhone has slightly curved edges. This ensures the screen protector doesn't lift at the edges.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The shield I have fits the IPhone 7 very nicely. It really couldn't be any bigger. Maybe you bought wrong shield. It would be smaller if you are applying it to and IPhone 7S.
