You really should weigh what's important, the white showing or the phone being protected, and others not seeing what you're doing on your phone. My wife has a gold phone and has a speck case with the privacy glass and loves hers; I have a privacy glass with my ottorbox and love vet mine as well. I hope this helps you make a decision.
