After further investigation, I determined that the green light does not stay on, even when powered on, which I think is really weird. I couldn't get mine to connect for the longest time, then I finally figured out that you have to hold down the bluetooth key on the keyboard for about 5 seconds while your ipad searches for it. After I did that, it finally paired. The quick start guide provided with the product isn't very intuitive. After I downloaded the instruction manual from their website, it clearly explained that the green light won't stay on, and to hold down bluetooth key to pair. Why on earth they chose not to include these two tips in the quick start guide makes no sense to me.
