It is made to fit the 2019 iPad Air. I’m not sure what you mean by “storage.” The iPad isn’t included, but neither the case nor keyboard have or require storage. The case that holds the iPad separates completely from the keyboard so they can be used separately if desired. Very clingy magnets keep them together otherwise. The keyboard has a backlight function with several color options and four levels of brightness. The battery is internal and rechargeable.(micro usb) and lasts a long time. I’ve had it for two months, used it daily, and haven’t had to recharge it yet. More than you asked for, but hope that helps.
