I've had it work 30-35 feet away with no connectivity issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That shouldn't be a problem for Bluetooth, however the keyboard and the kick stand are integrated together. You can separate the iPad from the keyboard, but without a stand, you would need to hold the iPad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Seeming that my IPad is 10.5 inches- having it more than arms length away it wouldn’t matter to me if it worked or not. I probably wouldn’t be able to read it. Think of what you’re trying to accomplish. If it’s being apart from the iPad then how about using an Apple TV and Mirroring the screen and getting full-size keyboard? Actually you have quite a few ways in which you can do it very easily without having to put your iPad in this case. Perhaps think about this; would you buy an iron if you needed a paperweight? Form=function Perhaps this form wasn’t intended for your function. I’d pursue an alternative. Just my thoughts.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Its fairly decent. I put it in the other room of office about 10 feet away and it worked. However I can't see what need or of use that would be when you can't see the IPad. Only problem I have had is the Z key fell off and is MIA. Since I just bought it, need to get with them and see if they'll exchange.
