• Our IPad air 2 is about the same weight as the keyboard / case setup (without the IPad docked in it). So basically, twice the weight (with the IPad docked) for total weight.

• It definitely adds weight. I find it an acceptable trade off for when I need a keyboard. My iPad easily slips out of the Zagg case for those times that I just want to experience some Jony Ive-inspired tactile bliss :)
