• Quick answer -- yes. The infrared device can measure the temperature of ANY surface that radiates heat between 89.6 F and 108 F (32.0 C - 42.2 C). Surface temperatures below those limits will display as "Lo" and surface temperatures above those limits will display as "Hi".
