This range hood is compatible with 7.5-9.5 ft ceilings, with the range hood being installed at least 30-36 inches above the cooking surface. • A:Answer Hello, Thank you for reaching out. This model comes with (2) 19" telescoping chimney pieces that can adjust from 19" up to about 37" tall. If your range hood is mounted 36" above your 36" tall range, this unit will be able to reach up to a little over 9'.
