Hello, Thank you for your question! The power cord for our wall-mounted range hood models is located at the top of the hood's base and is 36 inches in length. We recommend running the electrical cord up through the chimney, outside of the ducting, and plugging it into a dedicated power outlet either on the wall or in the attic. Ideally, the outlet should be positioned behind the chimney, to the left or right. Please note that the back of the chimney is open, while the back of the unit's base is enclosed.
