Q: QuestionWhere does the plug come out of the hood? What does the back look like

• A:Answer Hello, Thank you for your question! The power cord for our wall-mounted range hood models is located at the top of the hood's base and is 36 inches in length. We recommend running the electrical cord up through the chimney, outside of the ducting, and plugging it into a dedicated power outlet either on the wall or in the attic. Ideally, the outlet should be positioned behind the chimney, to the left or right. Please note that the back of the chimney is open, while the back of the unit's base is enclosed. Q: QuestionCan this hood be wired to a switched outlet? Meaning once you turn it on, if you were to turn off to the outlet with a switch would it come back on with the switch being turned back on, or would it require you to push the button again?
