I believe it qualifies as wireless for the wifi aspect of the camera, not for the power source.

Please try again later.In the video surveillance industry, generally the term wireless means there is no wire running from the camera back to the NVR (analog kit) or DVR (digital kit) recording device. In this case its a stand alone camera and doesn't record unless you already have a Zmodo NVR and were adding this camera to your existing network, but the wireless label still gets attached to the description. Good question, and sorry for any confusion.
