The coffee maker is in a location where there is plenty of space for air circulation. It is not under a cabinet. I also checked the water tank lid holes and they are not obstructed.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had my coffee maker for many months now, using it daily, Mine is not forming condensation as you described. When the coffee maker is in use I have it situated so the steam coming out of the top vent is not obstructed in any way, Where is your coffee maker located? Might the steam being released be hitting an obstruction above it (kitchen cabinet) pushing the steam back down?
