As well as a gamer in the house and wireless devices. No we aren't silly enough to use everything at one time. Max is normally three at once.”

In my experience, it does work and also relatively cheaper.However, you won't get a high speed internet signal that you are looking for. When I replace this with Motorolla Modem/Router, it worked super fast. If you wanna spend little more, then probably go for those other high end products.

I always recommend buying your own modem because you have the flexibility of choosing what fits your needs, and saves you the $10 rental fee. I currently have the Motorola SB6141 and Apple Airport Extreme and I love it. There's a lot of great routers out there, but I strongly suggest purchasing your own modem instead of renting. Also stay from All in one Router/Modem combinations. Get a seperate Modem and router.
