T/7x is the perfect answer for the real world. It’s compact enough (and beautiful enough) to end arguments before they begin; while powerful enough to easily answer most needs and balanced enough to blend beautifully with many of the quality speakers out there and still flexible enough to work in specialty applications.

No model in REL’s long history has sold more units nor engendered more affection than our T/5. Here reimagined in a modern, elegant, new form factor, T/5x’s mission remains the same: make remarkable bass far beyond its modest size, do so in a way that complements every interior’s style, and eliminate all visual distraction. Mission Accomplished.

Room-shaking output well below the threshold of audibility, with pinpoint control and accuracy, the PB-1000 Pro obliterates performance expectations for subwoofers anywhere near the price. A reimagined 12-inch high-excursion SVS driver, increased from 10-inches from the original PB-1000, is married to a reference SVS Sledge Amplifier with fully discreet MOSFET output for stunningly immersive cinematic bass. PB-1000 Pro is optimized with a new dual-port cabinet design for effortless bass with vanishingly low distortion and features the SVS Subwoofer DSP smartphone app for tuning and control.

Rel subs are beautiful and quality devices. We demoed a few different brands at the Brentwood, TN BB, and the HT1205 stood out to me as the heaviest hitter while preserving bass accuracy; That is, within the ~$1000 price range. My hifi system is technically sereophile-grade and there is no sub-out on my amp. So, audiophiles would scoff at this addition... but I genuinely enjoy heavy bass and like a little wall shaking with my music. Because this is technically geared toward "home-theater," it is even more qualified for that purpose. However, I have been more than satisfied with it's musical performance as well! The T/X7 was also demoed and is actually a more musical sub, but I would have had to purchase at least 2 of them to match the output of the ht1205. So I sacrificed "quality" for "quantity" bass, if you will. I went with the white model and my only complaint is the fabric on the dust cover: you can see EVERYTHING. But this is negligible. This is a great value subwoofer.

I love this subwoofer! I didn’t want to run cables to the back of my room where I decided to place the sub, so I got the wireless kit Rel Model:HT-Air MKII SKU:6560282. Extremely simple setup. Creates its own wireless connection. Comes with everything you need. You just need power outlets to plug into near your receiver and also where you decide to place your sub. If the placement of the sub is close enough to your receiver, you just need a power outlet and an RCA cable to go from the receiver to the sub. No wireless kit required. I upgraded my RCA’s to Audioquest Black Labs. I wanted to reduce as much unwanted noise as possible. Sealed system provides beautiful clean punch and rumble while watching movies, and is extremely tight when listening to uncompressed audio 2.1. I can’t imagine anyone being unsatisfied with this sub. After accommodating for my specific room acoustics, I have it dialed back to 40%. You will not be disappointed.

Upgraded system with 1st sub, after upgrading AVR earlier in the year that accommodated 9.4 After about 40 year old HK system that still works great at 4.0, So obviously a major upgrade. Rell sub was recommended by several Best Buy experts and glad went higher end. Sub sounds awesome, did need to adjust AVR settings a bit, boosted base too much so tuned it as needed on AVR settings for a great blend of new base range. Music and Movies all sound much better. Old system is great for game room, but no going back from 9.1, except forward to a 2nd sub in the future, and some updated speakers.
