With a digital video signal like HDMI, it either works or it doesn't, so try these inexpensive cables first, before trying a more expensive one. The quality of digital video is the same, regardless of the price of the *working* cable.

I cannot appreciate any loss of picture quality with this product. Currently it connects by DVD/Blu-ray player to the T.V.
