Almost Two years after purchasing this and it's still going STRONG. Only downside is how small the canister is, but considering how easy it is to empty, it's almost not even an issue. This is honestly one of the greatest purchases I've made in the last 5 years. The amount of pet hair this thing sucks up my other vacs couldnt is absurd.

Well worth the money. Lightweight, portable wicked suction. Wife thought I was nuts spending this kind of money but after once use she wished she had it long time ago. Oh we have two dogs and this is a major help with fur loss.

This is truly a fantastic vacuum and well-worth the price. The only downside is the battery-life (both in-use and overall longevity) isn't the best. But for an average-sized home, if done quickly, you should be able to complete the job before having to recharge the battery. The overall battery life wasn't the best, though. I believe I had to replace the battery after a year.

Wish I didn't wait so long to switch to bagless and cordless. I'll never go back. The ease and convenience and freedom of cordless is amazing. The charge lasts long enough to cover my 3 bedroom house if I keep moving, but if I want to also dust with it, I may do that on a separate day/charge. The way the attachments click together is easy and downright fun. I no longer have to put cotton in my ears when I vacuum - this Dyson runs quiet enough to even hear the tv over it. I love emptying the dust bin rather than keeping it in a bag in my house which used to always smell when I vacuumed (even when the bag wasn't full). I have a labrador who sheds a lot and this vacuum picks up dust and hair I never knew I had. I can use the small attachments to dust shelves, lampshades, ceiling fan blades, etc. with an ease I never had before. I am petite with weak hands and have no trouble holding it. I love the placement of the on/off button on the handle as it is so easy to stop and start when you need to. It doesn't eat cords or shoe laces that might get in the way. This Dyson actually makes housework fun . I highly recommend it!

I have long been a Dyson enthusiast. We have or have given as presents, multiple Dyson Air purifiers, upright vacuums and Cordless vacuums to family and friends. They are all quality built machines that work year in and out to help you keep your home clean! This Dyson V8 is the newest edition to our family cleaning arsenal and per my wife it is wonderful! I use a Dyson V11 upstairs but my wife wanted a lighter version so I go her the Dyson V8 for use downstairs and on the stairs! It is used primarily for quick pickups and for keeping the staircase clean and it does all of that with ease. Powerful? Yup! Light and easy to manage? Yup! Did I mention how powerful it is? It really is! And the attachments make clean so much easier, believe me. I cannot sing the praises of Dyson's V8 enough. My wife is happy and that is important to me! Thank you!

I love Dyson! Particularly their floor tools. This one is great because of the enhancements and all the attachments. I used this on a daily basis. It was worth the cost. It's a time-saver.

These are by far the best vacuums I’ve ever used, very lightweight !! Worth every dollar! I highly recommend!

super easy to clean stairs. I always use it on the high suction mode as I'm usually cleaning up hair from my yellow labrador. Only thing I wish would be that the battery would last longer than 15 or so minutes when using it on the highest suction mode. Essentially has replaced my other dyson because this one is way more portable.

Excellent vacuum with pets. It is light weight and pivots great around furniture and items on the floor. It picks up the loose pet hairs. The attachments work very well in the home and vehicles. The charge lasts 1 hour or more and recharges within 30 minutes. It cleans up nicely since the pieces are easily detachable. I highly recommend this vacuum.

I am extremely pleased with my Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner. The product is lightweight, flexible and can be used on hardwood floors and carpet.

Pound per pound, one of the best. Light wieght, easy to use and store. Max power really gets up dirt. Cons; have to empty it often, max power drains battery to fast.

Coming from someone who is used to corded vacuums I thought it was time for me to finally get a wireless stick vacuum. I was ready to buy the Tineco but my partner was set on the Dyson. We have two cats and a baby so as he explained the Dyson would be best. It’s mid at best. We have a $79 shark pet handheld vacuum and that does a better job than the Dyson. The Dyson does however work really well on the Max power setting. But I’ve never maxed out using it (no pun intended) but it’s supposed to last 9 mins on Max. I only use it for hard to clean messes like cat fur off our carpet-less floors. Or in the nooks and crevices of the baby’s high chair. Or hard to reach places where the nozzle can’t fully reach the max is powerful enough to suck items it doesn’t touch up. (Think: Super Mario Bro Invincible Star). But it’s not a bad vacuum it gets the job done and I haven’t had the battery run out on me yet. We use it in short bursts for the most part clean one room then vacuum -put it back on the the charger- clean the next. I’m hoping the v15 or the submarine one works better especially for the price. But if you’re looking for something that meets expectations, gets the job done, and doesn’t wow you with every use. Look no further. (Maybe look at the Tineco for half the price)?

Every home should have one. It has 2 different levels of vacuuming. Mostly we are using the lower level and mostly it is enough.

This handheld vacuum is fantastic. It is light weight and includes a variety of attachments. We use is mainly for spot cleaning around the house. As our Roomba does most of the heavy lifting. So the 40 minute or so run time is perfect. The great thing is you can remove the long extension and add the attachment that allows you to clean a couch. Especially useful with pets. As with other Dyson vacuums the suction power is top notch.

This vacuum is amazing. Light weight without a cord it has more suction than a canister vacuum of other brands. I have a cat and 2 dogs. They don’t call this machine the animal for nothing !!perfect if you have pets :)

How simple is this to use. I couldn't imagine how much I would love this device. It's cordless for me from now on. I find myself using the vacuum almost daily, just because I can use it quickly and efficiently. I mainly purchased it to have ease on my stairway. I'm so glad it takes so much time away from my daily chores. Love the attachments.

I use this at my ranch in the mountains to there is always dirt, mud, and firewood bark, bugs and spider webs. Great because no winding of cords, right there on the wall and does a great job of getting the job done.
