When I opened the package, it was labeled "Made in China". I was intent on buying American to support domestic industry. If I had not needed it right away, I would have sent it right back. Sales agents need to be more informed about what they are selling. the product is performing as expected.

About five years ago I purchased a much cheaper microwave that was pretty much piece of junk. This one, on the other hand, is pretty powerful and durable .

This one came 2 days after it was ordered. I like the preset options and the option to do timed cooking. This is a nice, easy to use microwave.
