Only one more challenge with this project...getting the old freezer OUT of our basement...it was a tight squeeze going “in” several years ago... SO...fingers crossed that we can get the old one out without a lot of trouble!!

I hate soft ice cream or ice cream that is somewhat hard. I put several containers in and set it on 3. 48hours later, voila! It was hard, not firm, not so so firm but hard. I consider this a good test of performance. I like this freezer and think it is a good buy. Setting on 3 will still save me money yearly. D
