What a great investment it’s most definitely worth the money

I purchased this Laptop on June 30, 2020. Everything was working perfectly. The return policy expired but I thought that it was a solid computer so I didn't worry. School started on August 10,2020. This is almost a month later. We meet on Collaborate and Zoom. Midway through the class, my audio and microphone completely went out. I restarted the computer. Unblocked popups. Updated the computer. It happened 4 more times within the next hour and a half. The only way to solve it was to restart my computer each and every time. I have been dealing with this issue for the past 3 months. I thought that it was just my computer but I see that everyone else is having the same issue. I contacted HP via social media and they asked me to do an audio test. I complied. It passed. However, that isn't the issue. HP has some serious work to do. 2 weeks ago, my computer shut down and did not restart. I contacted HP and have been going back and forth with them about that. This on top of the audio/microphone business, I want a refund. They missed the mark terribly. If you plan to video chat (LIKE HALF THE WORLD RIGHT NOW) DO NOT BUY THIS COMPUTER!

Internet access to videos EXTREMELY slow (e.g., YouTube loading), taking literally 60 - 120 seconds to load a video that took 1 second on an older computer that used the same Internet connection. Spent hours with Geek Squad online support. None of the "chats" were able to fix the problem. Next, took machine back to store where purchased. They offered to swap the machine out for another, or make their own effort at fixing the problem. The found a problem in the original HP software that was on the machine. They reset/reloaded a working version of the HP software, which made the problem go away. All of this took a considerable amount of time and resulted in loss of proprietary software loaded after purchase. Very aggravating! Should not happen on a new machine.
