Especially if you have a vehicle that has the connection, but the regular UBS connector doesn't fit. I connected it in my car, to my android, which is a C-to-C connection. Don't know whether of not it is compatible with the Iphone.

There are plenty out there that can't carry the data rate of USB 3.1, never mind 3.2 Gen 2. This is a happy exception. It handles the full data rate without issue, so it's good for portable monitors, external NVMe SSD drives, and the like.

Cable works as advertised. Definite speed bump going from the SSD to the tablet. What I would have saved from online store would have spent on shipping

The USB naming scheme is a disaster, but essentially, this cable allows high speed data to devices, including docks for your laptop as well as high speed charging. Good feel and heavy jacket. Been replugging daily and no trouble so far.

I have been looking everywhere for a thunderbolt or USB 3.2 cable that can provide power and display to a portable monitor. This did the job. Now I just carry one cable. No need for the extra HDMI cable anymore.

It came with a USB-C cord but it could not power the monitor and I had to use a separate cord USB power supply which defeated the whole reason for me buying this monitor for when I travel. I just happened to ask the salesperson at Best Buy if there are differences in these cables and he said yes and when we switched to this one it provided power from my laptop to run the second monitor without needing a separate power supply and that totally solved my problem. I wish ViewSonic had made mention about there being faster connection options than one day supplied and that they could eliminate the need for the separate power supply.

It didn't work any different for this function than cheap cables. It would not transfer date but it will charge my phone at higher power. I did try transfer with another better cable and it worked fine from the same ports.
