The new mode with a remote is interesting, the Google TV interface is nice, but the Chromecast integration causes me certain failures that I haven't had with the Chromecast Ultra, like when my Netflix profile has a password, I can't manage it from my cell phone, I absolutely need the remote control. There is latency in the audio when listening via Bluetooth when watching something in 4K.

The resolution is as promised. It's easy to use, and I had zero issues getting it set up and linked to my google account. However, it frequently lags and glitches. When its working its fantastic! Unfortunately it may take a bit to make it stop glitching and enjoy the show. Also, it has all these apps, is a google device, yet i cant download the xfinity stream or motortrend+ apps on it and still need another device to watch either of those.

Love how fast the responsiveness is of the Google TV! And setup was super easy and guided all the way through. Just be prepared to have to set up each individual app which can be tedious. Remote has volume controls on the side which is a bit awkward. Having the remote is very handy though!

The newest chromecast is a vast improvement over the older models. The addition of a dedicated remote is long overdue. The main complain that I have is that the navigation buttons are too easy to press and take you places where you didn't intend to go. The Google TV interface could use some work too.

It's easy to cast your phone to this device. There are some bad applications for streaming services but other than that it runs well.

I bought this for my daughter's tv in her room. It's better than the original Google Chromecast now that it has a controller. Easy to use and not bad of a price. The only minor complaint is that you have to plug it in to the wall outlet. I'm used to the Amazon fire stick or Roku stick where you just plug in the stick to the USB port on your tv

These things come in handy in just cleaning up streaming options. I've even started purchasing them for my Samsung 8 and 9 thousand series TVs just for the ease of use in bringing everything together

Nice interface. Nice to not have to manually switch between 12 different stream services. Voice command is a nice touch. Bought this because native netflix and hulu apps on tv stopped getting updates and subsequently stopped working. $50 for this was better than an entire new tv.

I loved chromecast for years... But this one is the best. It's actually like having a Roku TV without going out and buy one. Being able to access movie apps without picking up your phone (once you set it up). It's only $50 bucks, give it a spin... You won't feel like you've wasted your money.

I got this for my smart tv because my smart tv is a little older and doesn’t have all the streaming apps. This new chromecast allows me to watch YouTube and Disney+ on my tv. It’s a great value compared to Apple TV and I love the mic remote.

I've used firesticks in the past but I won't go back after getting a Chromecast. Hooks up to all my other google devices and it easy to travel with.

Take the functionality of an android set top box and release it at a price lower than even the Chinese can offer their versions. Great piece of hardware if you're already ingratiated in the Android ecosystem and even if not, it's easy to use and offers a number of fratures. This kills Roku.

Excellent item! Very easy to set up and once done, you're enjoying your shows. I hooked it up to an older computer monitor (no speakers) so I did have to get an HDMI splitter to get audio to my eternal speakers, but since it is plugged in series, there was no problem hooking it up.

Google finally got streaming right! Love the comprehensive yet simple and friendly user interface. Knocked out down one star because it has issues with casting from the Oculus VR (very laggy at best and disconnects frequently); I have to cast to the basic 'non Google TV' Chromecast (not Chromecast Ultra btw), which is still has a little lag but much less, and doesn't disconnect.

I have saved a ton of money on my monthly bills thanks to buying one of these and being smart about how I use it. I loved my Firestick but I feel this lets me have more options and it better integrates into my household stuff since I've been primarily using Google anyway.

Love how well this Chromecast works! Have used it on a few different TVs and I love it. Would definitely recommend

We finally cut the cord! So got this to be able to watch YOUTUBE tv with out casting. Like it so much bought a second one for the other t.v!

Wow!!! I have to say, this new(at least to me) Chromecast with Google TV has transformed my old plasma screen TV! Easy to connect and set up. I can watch my Netflix and HBOMax apps as well as casting from my phone. At the new sale price get it!!

I bought a smart tv that didn't have any way to download apps to it that weren't already on it. I subscribe to YouTube TV, and this wasn't on my tv. I bought the chromecast with hopes that it would allow me to view the streaming services I subscribe to on the tv. It installed easy and now I can watch any of my streaming channels.

Love it! Very easy to use and when used on different tv's make the remotes the same.
