I needed mine because my wife rearranged our living room and when I connect my Xbox or PS5 to my router, I use this cable because of course my wife put the router clear across the other side of the living room from my gaming consoles. Thank you Honey!!! On a serious not, I don't experience any lag when I connect to my router using this cable.
