So I bought a GE French Door Refrigerator from Best Buy August 2022. The unit was delivered October 2022. The unit stopped working March of 2023. I called Best Buy and was directed to contact GE for service. A technician diagnoses the issue as a bad compressor and ordered and installed a new compressor. The unit stopped cooling again September 2023. Called GE again and a tech was dispatched to repair the unit again. The unit stopped cooling again - January 2024. Called Best Buy who dispatched a tech on Thursday, January 11th. The tech diagnosed it again as a closed system cooling issue that he wasn't qualified to repair. A new company was dispatched for an appointment on January 16th. I received a call on January 15th that they too were not qualified to repair closed cooling systems. I called Best Buy again asking for a new replacement machine for this clearly bad unit. I was told that dispatch was looking for a qualified technician to fix the GE refrigerator. An appointment was scheduled for Monday, January 22nd. The same GE technician from the first visit came to the house and diagnosed the problem as a bad compressor AGAIN and ordered several new parts including a new compressor. This unit is 15 months old and has broken 3 times in 10 months. Each system failure has caused all the food in the refrigerator to spoil. I have repeatedly asked for a new unit. Today I was told that the "lemon" provision of my warranty is only good after the 3rd breakdown under the extended warranty. Since the first 2 breakdowns were under the factory warranty THEY DONT COUNT! BEWARE OF Best Buy and their geek squad extended warranties. They are clearly a waste of money. I spent $2500 on a refrigerator that has cost us hundreds of dollars is spoiled food and now we have no kitchen refrigerator for a month. Do not shop at Best Buy. They clearly dont care about their customers.

Since delivery 3 days ago, this GE refrigerator has functioned well in maintaining temperatures set on the control panel.

We got this because it was 33” wide. For being a 33” wide refridgerator, it has so much space. The finish on the handles can be scratched because it is painted for be careful if you wear rings.

This fridge has great capacity and lots of ways to change the storage of the shelves. Only downfall is that the storage in the door is not as flexible.

Love the slate, love the French doors. I didn't care if there was water, but nice to have it. However, it very slow pouring. Takes forever to fill a cup.

I like the internal water dispenser, the models with the dispenser on the outside loose to much room on the inside of the door. This one is well lit, and has plenty of room. We only had a 33 inch opening so our options were limited. This refrigerator gave us the most options while still at a midrange price. We've only had it installed for a month, but so far very happy with it.

Works well... it can be loud when operating. This one has a water dispenser on the inside so it saves space.

Very please with the fridge. The price was very good and we feel we got great value for the price we paid.

We purchased this because we needed a smaller refrigerator for our new house and this works well. Delivery went smooth and would highly recommend.

This is a very nice fridge. The water on the inside is very convenient and keeps any drippings from the refrigerator door. It has a lot of room on the inside and stores a lot of food in various sizes. It’s easy to maintain and keep clean. Fingerprints don’t show except for on the handles. That’s an easy wipe. We are very pleased with the fridge.

I have long wanted a bottom mount freezer and I finally have one! The French doors are a bonus and I like the uncluttered look of the front without the water and ice through the door! This one dispenses chilled, filtered water inside the fridge and it's so much simpler and less messy. The inside drawers are spacious and it's all quite roomy! I'm very pleased!

Loved this GE, but unfortunately I measured wrong and we had to return it. Great customer service too

Good fridge. Honestly the humming that everyone talks about is SUPER mild. Can barely hear it or when it’s making ice. Only downside is I wish there was more room in the freezer

Home was built in 1983, so the refrigerator fits perfect.

The refrigerator is spacious and we really like the bottom freezer feature.
