Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so surprised to see that this refurbished item turned on and worked like normal upon arrival- and then less surprised when, after updating, it turned off and refused to turn back on despite all home-remedy efforts. I took it right back to Best Buy and the employees were able to resolve my problem in no time at all.

Does the job, but slow and clunky

That being said, it's a bit clunky and slow. I don't do anything particularly special (email, office applications, occasional EMR use for hospital work). I have an MacBook Air, which I bought new, and is similar age to the refurbed one I bought, and my OG one is superior to the refurbed one I got from best buy. So it works, but it's not stellar.
