Printer works fine but setup is a hassle as it has to run through an app which can be challenging to setup with wifi. Took me 30 minutes to set up initially and a couple of minutes if I haven't used it in a while. Don't know if this is how all printers are these days

This product sucks don’t buy this it’s hard to connect I call hp you can’t even get a hold of anyone at hp accept there stupid app which is no help at all or the directions suck I have never had this much trouble connecting anything to my internet I’ll never recommend a hp product to anyone again no wonder bestbuy only has 15 day return policy instead of 30 day my last printer was an hp I had problems connecting with that one to it went in the garbage it looks like this one will be joining it

This is a terrible printer. Got a new wifi router and it took over an hour to try to reconnect the printer to the new wifi. There are no clear instructions for anything and it is much more difficult than it has to be. The printer also just randomly disconnects from the wifi and I have to restart the whole process over again. The printer also barely holds enough paper. Also the printer light doesn’t have an option to turn off unless you turn off the entire printer

This printer is ok. It can handle basic color and black and white printing and copying. However mine makes a terrible high pitch background noise and I cannot leave it turned on in sleep mode so it loses a lot of the benefit of wireless printing since I have to go turn it on and off for each printing. I wouldn’t buy it again because of this.

It works well. too many buttos, lights. hard to set up for me

This printer works okay. Prints nicely but it ALWAYS prints two and even sometimes three copies when I only want ONE copy. After literally spending hours with tech support, google, and brainstorming every which way… it still does what it does. I got so annoyed with it I just gave it to my 8 year old granddaughter.

The printer works very good. But the scanner takes forever to scan a document

For the price it was an okay printer. The print quality isn’t always that great.

The printer took multiple attempts to set up, reset the wireless setting, and get the printing operation to work. Once the printer was working, numerous cleanings and alignments were required to get a document to print somewhat legibly.

It prints perfectly fine on regular paper, but if printing on glossy photo paper/sticker paper DONT buy! For a couple weeks it worked fine on glossy paper, then the printer decided it could no longer read the glossy paper. Reached out to HP, who sent a replacement and the replacement does the exact same thing! I’m so mad that I wasted my money on this printer. I have wasted so much time and paper!

I love the printer. However, I can't rely on it. A tech fixes it and it works...the next day it doesn't work. This has gone on since I bought it August 14l A tech is coming again tomorrow We'll see how long it works because I'm sure he will not leave until it is working.

At the time of this review, I have used this printer for a while and it was pretty unbearable to use. The wifi connection keeps dropping or going mia. Even when it prints out a sheet that says it's connected and online, my devices still sees it as offline. The HP Smart app was not very smart at all. It keeps asking me to sign in and also was unable to find my printer. And when trying to restart the process all over again to readd printer, it was unable to find it. Luckily I bought gsp for it and will now return it and see if I can get something else.

The printer doesn't work. I set it up and was able to print a few pages but only in black & white. The color cartridge never worked. After attempting to follow the instructions to fix the color cartridge, the printer then stopped working entirely, and it won't connect to the internet. I'm hoping to return it.

Good but set up is hard. Especially if you change wifi

worked good for 2 weeks, then went off line & I could not get it on line again-

It did it's job, and it did it poorly. Printing was definitely slow, as expected. However, I did not think it would give me such a hassle with double-sided printing. Just when I think I figured out the settings to print correctly, it changes with other apps. Scanning was the worst, takes forever!

I had an HP envy printer for over 7 years that was awesome but just eventually died. I was hopeful this printer would be a good replacement but it’s the absolute worst - it never connects to the internet & it’s impossible to get any support from HP. Things will print days later when it finally decides to connect to the internet for a split second… And the problem is not my internet bc the old printer never had these issues - I am now stuck with having to replace it again after a few weeks of frustration. Do not buy this printer.
