Terrible Printer

This has been the worst printer I have ever had. I did the ink program and they charge me all kinds of money and then have the ability to stop my printer if I don't pay the monthly fee. It takes so very long go print and never stayed connected to my network. I just bought a new one and am purchasing my own ink..

Most frustrating printer EVER! Constantly goes offline and having to reset it. I used all the printer ink with the constant print outs from HP! I dont like the HP app at all.

Having troubles getting it set up. I've tried twice and no results. I will try one more time, I have a person coming to help. I usually don't have any problems with HP printers

I bought this to replace a much older version of this printer. I am so disappointed with this one. The on button is on the back. It's supposed to print 2 sided but only does it with one of my laptops which is not the one I need it the most. It also takes forever to start printing. For some reason HP thinks colored lights and fun noises are a great replacement for quality.

I am very disappointed in this printer and regret buying it. If i could i would return it. We have tried to over a month to connect it to our phones. No success. Even our son who is an IT specialist couldn't get it to work. The only support i got from the company was a preloaded printable instruction book. The only reason i bought this one wss for its wireless capabilities. So now its basically useless.

Only had this printer since Jan 2024. Seven months later (8/2024).
One of the cartridge compartments broke right away. Now the paper, when printed, the corner edge of the paper comes out bent. I can't even print a double side anymore.
Piece of crap & don't recommend this product to anyon.

HP ENVY 6065e Printer
Compact, stylish, and covers the essentials
These 6000 series printers are very stylish, with a small footprint so they can sit on desktop or bookshelf without taking up a lot of room. Setup is pretty easy, with the HP Smart App on a phone or also can be set up using desktop/laptop computer. Once set up and connected to wireless network at home, the whole family can print from several computers, phones, and tablets. Everyone can print from wherever they are! Wife prints recipes and coupons from her Chromebook or phone, son prints schoolwork from desktop and tablet, I print student worksheets, certificates, and calendars from desktop.
Print quality is good, no issues with documents and pages with a lot of color look fine for school assignments and work presentations. Scanning is fully adjustable for size and resolution – everything is handled by using the HP Smart App. The HP Smart App guides you through scanning, special printing needs, settings, and shows you ink levels and any error messages that might pop up. The HP Print and Scan Doctor software helps troubleshoot if any issues come up with connection or functions of the printer. It is especially nice to be able to see your ink levels on the computer screen.
Speaking of ink, the Instant Ink was something new to me a while back when I got another HP printer to use in the office, but after using it for over a year I have found the Instant Ink to be a good choice – for a small amount per month I always get replacement cartridges shipped before the ink runs out, I get notifications that ink has shipped (with tracking), and I don’t have to decide if I want to print in color and “use up” that color cartridge or stick with black-and-white printing… I can print in color without hesitation, and it doesn’t cost any more from using the color inks. A little bit (or a lot) of color on a printed page makes a lot of difference and always looks nicer, and more professional!
If you are wondering whether to use the Instant Ink or not – this printer comes with months of “no charge” for the Instant Ink service to give you a chance to try it out. It is simplest to go ahead and enroll in the Instant Ink when setting up the printer, and you will get an immediate shipment of the larger ink cartridges sent right out so you will get them before the “comes with the printer” cartridges run out. These Instant Ink cartridges hold more ink, so they don’t need to be replaced as often, and with the Instant Ink it’s not a problem anyway as you will get a fresh shipment before you run out of ink. As you go through the first few months of the free Instant Ink program, you will get a good idea of what plan is best for you – and HP sends emails from time to time if you are using either less or more printed pages than your plan supports. There are also “rollover” copies from month to month if you print less pages one month and then more pages the next month. You do need to set up an account with HP to use the Instant Ink, but this is not much more than registering the printer for warranty documentation. I now have 2 HP Printers with the Instant Ink program – an HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 for the office, and the HP ENVY 6050e at home. I have to say I was not sold on the idea before I tried it out, but have found it so convenient and “no worries” about having to run out and buy new cartridges.
Overall this is a good printer for home, student, or small home office use.
Greetings from Central Georgia!

This purchase was not good. It was very difficult to set up even with HP support. Once installed, it was very noisy - the printing process was very noisy, and the ink doesn't last. I returned it and opted for the HP LaserJet MFP M140w which is much better.

If you need a printer that you want to hook up to Wi-Fi and print you'll be messing with the printer every time because it will lose signal every time it's trash

Terrible installation. Issues with the WiFi setup wizard. Took my dad more than an hour to figure out the wizard. He had to try to download the SmartHP app on his cell phone, download the smart print app on his pc. Restarted the phone, the pc, the printer. It was a nightmare trying to walk him through the process on the phone. Not senior-friendly, lol

Unhappy. Does not respond well. Seems to disconnect if not in use and it takes a while
And many tries to get it to print again. Almost as if it’s sleeping.

do not buy this printer! This printer and all HP products for that matter have "Dynamic Security" which locks out all 3rd party ink from being used on this printer. forcing you to only buy HP's inflated priced ink.

Do not buy HP products, they are very bad and if you call customer service, they do not help you, they offer you products and if you do not want them, they hang up on you. This printer stopped working the day after we bought it and now it only works when it wants, it is very difficult to maintain it. in use and it is disconnected for no reason from the wife

Constantly goes off line. After some research I find a common problem. All drivers up to date, and connections valid.
I would advise not to purchase this item.
Just like flushing your money down the drain.
