    Consider a pretty value but purchased as a Christmas gift for a student so has received limited use. Performs all necessary functions and was easy to set up. Problem free longevity will be the real test

    The printer worked the first few print jobs. This is a home printer and I just don’t use it often. A week or so later (well past the return date) it had an error code indicating the ink cartridges were not compatible. They are the HP ink cartridges that came in the box. Luckily I had purchased additional HP ink cartridges and installed two new ones. I reset the printer. Turned it off and back on. Still shows the error code. It is an HP problem.

    I have used HP printers for years because are they reliable and of strong quality, and affordable. HP has great diagnostics----though problems with a new printer are rare in my experience---and very clear instructions. Something like this Envy (curious name!) printer is great for folks like myself who just want to get on with printing.

    Is a good machine except for that? The uninstall switch is in the back and it won't automatically turn on. When I print from my computer or my phone. It has to be turned on manually unless I misunderstand how to do it

    Better than expected. This replaced an older HP printer that was having issues staying connected to home wifi. For a $55 printer, I have no complaints.

    It doesn't always print. The document just sits in the queue. I'm not sure I am getting the free ink. Nevertheless, it does print well, when it prints
