Once you get past the sticker price it is well worth it. I have MS and I need to stay cool. I have not had to turn on my AC all summer because this fan does the work and uses much less energy so it pays for itself. I do not understand the complaints about noise it is very quiet unlike the loud AC. I never write reviews until this one so it must be good

This Dyson fan was everything I was looking for! I needed a fan that was safe for my pets to be around & doesn't stir up dust, dirt & allergens. I never have to worry about my dogs tails getting caught up in blades & they can safely move around it. Plus, it's pretty quiet!

My husband wanted this fan and I was loathe to spend so much money on a fan! For heaven's sake you can buy one for about $40. This Dyson is worth it. It is quiet, powerful, and easy to change settings from afar with the remote. It is not an eyesore but not a decoration either. It was worth the cost. I did not give it 5 stars because I am still somewhat aghast at the cost.

The fan is easily double the price of the competition but well worth the price. It is as silent as you'd get with a fan do to the unique design and you don't feel like you are sitting in front of a wind tunnel when the fan is on full blast. And you can't beat the stylish looks. It is a Dyson so you know you are getting a quality, beautifully designed product that will last.

Works as well as any other fan on the market with the added advantage of much lower noise levels. At four feet away, it measures 54dB on a setting of 6.

It is a reasonably quiet and efficient fan. It eliminates the pulsating effect that most fans produce. It seems to make the air more pleasant, but it is not an air conditioner, and it is wise to keep your expectations in check when you pay so much for this unit.

Very quiet, multiple settings for speed, angle of air flow, and of course, aesthetically pleasing. Looks and performs great! I highly recommend this fan. Expensive but you can't go wrong with a Dyson product.

Ok fan. I set it on floor by my bed for sleeping and on/off switch is at very bottom. Would be better with on/off switch on top. Quiet and nice looking but doesn’t blow as strong as cheaper one I bought my daughter.

This has a sleek design. It's quite and does blow cooler air. Like everything about it except the price.

My best purchase to date all I need is some water in my room to feel like I am on the beach in the Caribbean

Having young grandchildren and pets I find this fan very safe to use. It’s super easy to clean. This is my second one. The first is over 5 years old and still works great. Even with the ac on it helps circulate the air around.

It does blow cooler air nicely. Worth the price? I don't think so.

Although I was a bit worried about the price, the performance of the fan holds up. It’s very warm in my home doing the summer months and the regular tower fans just weren’t working. This fan is very cooling. Goes up to 10 settings, but I can comfortably keep it between 3-5. At first the noise level of the fan was my only con. Now i feel like it’s a smoothing sound to fall asleep to.

It is amazing how quiet this fan is with the amount of cool air. It is good if you have kids so you're not dealing with fingers trying to touch blades

I have 2 of these fans. They do a really good job of providing a nice cool breeze. You need to wipe down the air intake vents at least monthly to keep this operating at its best. This will also help with longevity. These are pricey for a fan, but I have no regrets.

We live in Hawai'i and this fan is definitely our saving grace now during the summer. I like to turn the Dyson on after having the ac on all night and it pretty much keeps the cool in the room most of the day. Love it!

Purchased this for our child's dorm room. Hands down, the best cooling fan out there! Works like a charm, cools instantly, worth every penny
