When The Beatles got so popular they couldn't appear on TV shows all over the world to promote their newest release, they made films for fans to enjoy. Problem was, there was no way to know when & on what TV station/show they'd play. There were no computers (YouTube) no VCRs to set & record shows - nothing. If you missed it - chances are you missed it forever. Here they are at last, restored to perfection! You MUST get the two DVD or Blu-Ray version, or you'll miss out on Strawberry Fields Forever (among others). Before they're history once more - get one!

If you are a Beatles fan, you have seen some of these clips over 2 DVD's before. But there are so many that are not on the movies, the Sullivan shows, and the Anthology series that it is worth the money. I have the standard release, but the Blu-Ray player improves the experience. You also get a copy of Beatles #1's, which is the third release of the 27 Number 1 hits but is based on the 2010 upgrades. Highly recommended, and a must for beatles fans

This Beatles music video collection is stellar! There is so much Beatles history in this box set, plus the new 5.1 mixes are a joy to listen to. The Beatles never get old & their musical legacy truly stands the test of time.

Where to begin! First you get the audio c.d. "1" remastered and remixed. Many of the songs have more punch than ever before. ("Come Together" and "Paperback Writer" are two examples). In addition, previous stereo mixes of songs such as "All You Need is Love" had extreme stereo separation that just didn't hold up over time. Those songs now sound fresh, crisp and clear. The videos are such a delight to experience. Some of the early performances aren't the best quality video or audio. But when you get to the later ones, the restoration process is amazing. Plus the audio is in 5.1. This set is well worth the money for any true Beatles fan

I already own the original release of '1', but purchased the new version containing the two DVDs anyway. I am so glad I made that decision. So much has been written about The Beatles. The thing that struck me most about the videos though was how much fun it looked like they were having in many of them, especially John and Paul. It's such a shame they were never all able to settle their differences and reunite. I would recommend this release whether you were a fan back in the day or someone discovering the Beatles for the first time.

A stunning improvement in historical Beatles audio and video. Watch for the subtle difference in identifying the DVD from the BluRay though. It's only a small logo found on the bottom of the spine of the slipcase. I bought the wrong one first, but the Best Buy staff was very helpful and understanding in resolving the issue. Also, Best Buy honored a better price I found on the Internet. Thanks for the Price Match Guarantee!

Here together, finally, for the first time. Masterfully restored. Before anyone was even thinking about the music video, The Beatles were doing them. Many early tunes were lip synched for the video but there are some riveting live performances as well. For the true fan, the bonus disc is where it's at. All those alternate takes plus added tunes make this package worth every penny.

This would be a good purchase for someone who is just becoming interested in the Beatles as it is a good collection of their songs and videos. The CD doesn't sound much different from the Beatles 1 I bought six years ago. Most of the videos and bonus videos I have from other previous compilations (i.e. Beatles Anthology). Not too much is new here as far as I can see. The book that comes with it has some nice information about the songs and videos. My only regret is I didn't pay five dollars more and get the Blue Ray version.

Great sound, beautiful picture, brilliant release! The audio isn't immersive 5.1 surround but the recordings have never sounded this good. The only real 5.1 surround sound tracks are Free As A Bird & Real Love. Still a great purchase and well worth the $50.00

What a trip down memory lane! Lots of cheesy stuff but that's the way videos were back then. It's nice to hear these songs on CD super clean.

This is a great music and video set. The Beatles are the best and this set has almost all of the videos. Well worth it.
