I would recommend this movie to anyone that likes a war picture.

The day the Secretary of Defense made the speech about the 12 men that engaged in one of the most successful, dangerous, and seriously outnumbered, overwhelmed, against the odds type situation Ive yet seen (on film). It’s brilliantly how the film tells the story of the heroics these guys did serving under conditions I’m familiar with. I also love that they were able to do this without showing so much of the darkest parts of war, yet you understand the brutality, intensness and vitality of such missions! God Bless the Men who really conducted this mission. Its worth owning this film period!

I enjoy watching war movies, especially ones based on true stories. To me, they are a way of giving the unsung heros a chance fortheir story to be told and I always appreciate that. Not many people outside of the military fully grasp the things service members get and this film, like other war films give you a small glimpse into the world of a service member. Granted it's Hollywood, they're going to take certain liberties because they have to entertain, but I appreciate it none the less.

This is the True Story of the Army's Special Forces "Green Berets", who immediately responded to the 9-11 attack. They link up with Afghan forces who are enemies of the Taliban in order to help take over the country and allow other Special Forces and the U.S. Army, etc., to begin the more publicly visible war. Extremely interesting insight into what happened in the beginning of our response to the terrorist attack on the U.S.

This is a terrific movie. I've watched it several times. My brother -in-law (retired Navy) owns it, too. The acting and the location are so realistic. I also like knowing that it is based on a real military operation, and as kept as true to that as possible. It can make one appreciate the struggles our personnel go through and their love of country and duty more. Excellent movie.

A true story about a Special Forces ODA that conducted a classic UW (Unconventional Warfare) operation is a hostile environment. I watched the movie and read the book. The movie was close to the book. Gives a good picture of how SF conducts UW in a real-world operation. I recommend it for everyone who wants to learn more about SF capabilities.

After following Chis Hemsworth through, what seems like, an endless stream of Thor movies ( not complaining .... love them all ) it was refreshing to see him in a more earthly role. The movie “12 Strong” is a big screen adaption of a covert operation of American undercover operatives in Afghanistan post 9-11. Filled with loads of action and suspense. I would recommend this flick for any action movie lover.

The story, based on true events, needed to be told. It was an exceptional story, excellent casting, acting, cinematography and realism. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Watched it once, highly recommended it to family and friends and bought it at first opportunity. Definitely worth rewatching.

This movie about soldiers, and a real engagement that they were involved in is very uplifting, and entertaining as well. It's not your typical war type film, but if you enjoy this genre of movie, I believe you will get a couple hours of feeling that you watched something special.

This movie has a Lone Survivor, American Sniper feel to it and is almost as enjoyable as both of them. I really like Chris Hemsworth and he is good in this movie. The premise is predictable for the most part, 12 gentleman all on a mission and you don't know who will live and who will die. It is definitely worth watching if you like wartime movies or action movies.

Wow! Took me by surprise and not as predictable. I'm glad that I read other reviews and took my chance and purchased it. Great story and acting. Amazing how our special forces are able to take risks and reach their objectives. One of the best war films to add to my collection.

Excellent military movie. If you have ever served in the military, this is a must to add to your movie collection A+.

I had not heard this storyline until watching the movie but shows what determination and courage can do in spite of incredible odds. Although it helps to have complete control of the skies. Video was fine for a DVD but audio was better than expected.

War, ump, What is it good for, absolutely nothing. Say it Again. Being a Veteran Soldier myself this movie depicts an accurate account of what took place over there. Let's the world know that it is a time for CHANGE.

I can’t put this up there with 5-star war films like 13 Hours, Lone Survivor, and American Sniper, but it is definitely worth a purchase. The story keeps you on the edge of your seat and the characters are pretty well-developed. Even though this isn’t an Atmos track, the sound is still great.

This movie has great footage of the mountains, the terrain is almost a member of the cast. Hopefully it reminds us all of how much sacrifice our military give in the wars going on today.

Its hard to believe this movie was a real life occurrence. The men that fought in this secret mission are second to none in bravery and dedications to each other and the mission!

I had never heard of this movie, but while shopping at Best Buy I saw the cover with Chris Hemsworth & without hesitation I bought the movie! Great movie, and very touching!

Amazing story about our amazing troops! The is not just about action, but about the bravery, courage, and leadership of Captain Mitch Nelson and his team doing mission impossible.

Movie shows the results of our Military's Training programs. The dedication of our men to their mission and each other is inspiring. Makes me proud to be an American!
