I had previously been using a 2017 MacBook Pro. I could tell that I needed to purchase a new one, as the old computer kept over heating. I had to keep it plugged in all the time. I purchased this particular model with the M5 chip and it runs like a dream. I can do everything I need to for work and it handles all online work without any issues. It stays cool and won’t overheat. The best part is the long-lasting battery. I can use it for days before I have to charge it. (I don’t use it all day long, but I am using it quite a bit throughout each day.) I had read some reviews about the MacBooks overheating if they had the M4 chip. I had planned to get the M2, as there didn’t seem to be any complaints about them. I am so happy that I found this newest model. It appears from the product description that this M5 was just released this year (2025). I absolutely love this laptop. I am so glad I purchased this product. I was able to get it on sale during the Black Friday Sale. I ordered it on the Best Buy app and when I got to the store I was able to go in and pick it up very quickly. The whole process was quick and easy. Thank you Best Buy!

I am very happy and in love with the MacBook Pro computer. I love the features it has! It is very fast and runs smoothly. The quality of its components are excellent! It starts up quickly and handles multiple programs at once without slowing down. also, the battery life is amazing!

I’m really happy I decided to switch to the 14-inch instead of the 16-inch. It's super lightweight and way easier to carry around for someone like me who is always on the go. The laptop has been functioning flawlessly and keeps up with the demands I need it to perform so definitely worth the upgrade from my old MacBook Pro.

While not a heavy computer user, I try to stay current with my equipment. I moved from a MacBook Air with a M3 to a Pro with a M5. Noticeable difference in the speed and feel the screen and sound is improved. Glad I made the change.

Upgraded from 2020 MacBook Pro M1 and it’s night and day! Such amazing speeds and just phenomenal how it can handle many programs opened at once, image quality is amazing, battery life last all day! I definitely recommend this MacBook to anyone!

I undertook what I felt was a rather extensive amount of research prior to purchasing this Macbook Pro (though I am by no means a technical expert). What I can say regarding that is such: between this and the Macbook Air m4, the screen resolution and frame rate are upgraded (mini-LED, 120hz), the base model’s memory is upgraded (512gb), the speakers are upgraded, the GPU and CPU are obviously upgraded, the AI capabilities are upgraded (the m5 chip is generally centered around AI performance to integrate it more seamlessly in Apple’s future AI updates), the cooling system is upgraded (designated cooling fan), the battery is upgraded, there are added HDMI and SD card slots, and, in light of such, the overall performance/bandwidth of the machine experience an general upgrade. For some reference, I’ve been exclusively driving an IPad Pro M1 with Magic Keyboard for the past 4 or 5 years but have been experiencing some limited functionality with a number of apps. Obviously, a computer designed to work as a computer will resolve the issues that I’m experiencing on the IPad, so I’m happy with the purchase. Something else to keep in mind, like most other computer manufacturers, there’s built-in obsolescence, so buying the newest version of any machine will always give you security in the future. People generally call this being “future-proof,” which in reality is about a 7-year(ish) expected span of security. The device won’t die, per-se, but most companies will stop fully supporting the device around that time. I myself am still trying to understand when the most optimal time to upgrade is and optimize the values of trade-in and continued performance. I imagine it’s similar to a car. In any case, best of luck with your future purchase!
